The AHA’s Basic Life Support Provider Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. This course teaches basic life support skills and rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics.

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s BLS Course. This course has 2 components: an online portion which takes 1.5hr to complete and a skills portion scheduled for 2hrs. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a BLS eCard from the American Heart Association valid for 2 years.

This course is for first time BLS providers and BLS providers with an expired card.
